VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED!!

Invasive non-native species such as American signal crayfish and floating pennywort are amongst the most serious threats posed to the water environments of Cumbria.
The Cumbria Freshwater Invasive Non-Native Species (CFINNS) Initiative is therefore seeking help in the design of a pocket size species identification guide to help fight this threat.

This opportunity will run from mid November 2011 to February 2012. You will also need the ability to work on your own computer from home.

SCRT are always on the look out for volunteers to help us carry out projects. There is plenty to do including electrofishing, invertebrate sampling, fence installing and tree planting. We need help inside as well, so office skills, fundraising experience or simply enthusiasm are always welcome!
